Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Kinnectd LLC ("Kinnectd", "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit kinnectd.com, contact us, or interact with us as a company. It covers our website and our communications with you.
Each of our products has its own privacy policy that governs the data you give that product. A2Me's policy is at a2me.app/privacy. Safety Goggles' policy is linked from the app and its store listing. When those policies and this one overlap, the product policy controls for the product.
1. Who we are
Kinnectd LLC is a Texas limited liability company based at 2100 N HWY 360 STE 1302-R, Grand Prairie, TX 75050, United States. 2. What we collect on kinnectd.com
Information you give us. If you email us, fill in a form, apply to a program, or sign up for news, we receive what you send: typically your name, email address and your message.
Information collected automatically. Our website uses Plausible, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal identifiers. It records page views, referrers, country, browser and device type in aggregate. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
Cookies. kinnectd.com does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add a feature that needs a cookie, we will say so here.
We do not buy personal information from data brokers, we do not collect sensitive personal information through this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 on kinnectd.com.
3. How we use it
- to answer your questions and provide support;
- to send you news or updates you asked for, which you can stop at any time with the link in the email;
- to run and secure the website and understand which pages are useful;
- to consider applications to our programs, such as the ambassador program or partnerships;
- to comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on our legitimate interests in running a website and responding to people who contact us, on your consent where we ask for it, and on legal obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with providers that help us operate: our web host (Google Cloud) and email provider, Plausible for aggregate analytics, and professional advisers where necessary. Each acts under contract and only on our instructions. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect people or property, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.
Files your browser loads from other companies. Our pages do not serve everything from our own site. They use web fonts delivered by Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) and the Plausible analytics script delivered from plausible.io. Your browser fetches those files straight from Google and from Plausible, and it cannot ask for a file without identifying itself: each request discloses your IP address, which file you asked for, the kinnectd.com page or site that asked for it, and the ordinary details every browser sends, such as your browser and operating system and your preferred language. Plausible also receives the address of the page you are viewing, which is how the aggregate counts in section 2 are produced. These are requests your browser makes directly, so we cannot see or control them, and what Google does with them is governed by Google's own privacy terms rather than ours. Our 404 page loads no files from other companies.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. We do not respond to older "Do Not Track" settings.
5. Retention
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted. Aggregate analytics are not personal information.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of US states with privacy laws, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia, have the rights those laws provide, including the right to appeal a decision. In the past twelve months the only categories of personal information collected through kinnectd.com were identifiers and internet activity as described in section 2.
To exercise a right, email support@kinnectd.com or write to the address above. We will verify your request against the information we hold and respond within the time the law allows. If we decline, you may appeal by replying to our response. Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland may also complain to their data protection authority.
7. International visitors
Kinnectd operates from the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, information you send us is processed in the United States.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the small amount of information this website handles. No method of transmission is perfectly secure.
9. Changes
We will update the date at the top when this policy changes and will give notice on the site for material changes.
